Adobong Sitaw (Waterless & Oilless Style)

🍳 Cookware Used:

  •  Large Gourmet Skillet (Platinum Cookware)

🛠️ Utensils:

  • Cutting board

  • Knife

  • Mixing spoon

🧂 Ingredients:

  • 3 cups pre-cut red sitaw (long beans)

  • 1 cup pork, cut into strips

  • 1 cup vinegar

  • 3 cloves garlic, minced

  • 1 onion, sliced

  • 1/4 cup soy sauce

  • 2/3 cup coconut milk

  • 1/2 tsp ground pepper

👩🍳 Instructions:

  1. Cut sitaw into 2-inch lengths, rinse, and drain well.

  2. Preheat the 11” Large Platinum Skillet on medium heat until a drop of water beads.

  3. Add pork strips and brown without oil (thanks to Platinum’s non-stick surface). Remove and set aside.

  4. In the same skillet, sauté garlic, onions, and vinegar. Add back pork.

  5. Cover with the lid. Once the temperature indicator reaches the 40–50°C mark, reduce heat to low and simmer for 10 minutes.

  6. Uncover, add soy sauce, coconut milk, and pepper.

  7. Stir occasionally and cook uncovered on medium for 10 more minutes to avoid curdling of coconut milk.

🌱 Waterless/Oilless Notes:

Platinum Cookware's multi-ply construction allows even heat distribution and perfect searing without oil. The vapor-seal lid enables nutrient-preserving, low-water cooking.
