Chopsuey (Oilless)

🍳 Cookware Used:

  • 4 Qt. Platinum Cookware with Cover

🛠️ Utensils:

🧂 Ingredients:

  • 1/2 lb. pork loin, cut thinly

  • 1 large onion, quartered

  • 1 cup sliced soy seitan

  • 1 cup sliced pork liver

  • 5 stalks Chinese pechay

  • 2 red peppers, sliced in strips

  • 1 cup fresh shrimp

  • 3 cloves garlic, minced

  • 1 cup sliced carrots

  • 1 cup sliced patola

  • 1 cup chicharo (snow peas)

  • Salt and pepper to taste

  • Soy sauce to taste

👩🍳 Instructions:

  1. Preheat the 4 Qt. pot on medium until water beads.

  2. Add garlic and brown without oil. Add pork, liver, onions, shrimp. Sauté.

  3. Season with salt, pepper, and soy sauce. Add soy seitan.

  4. Add remaining vegetables. Cover and cook for 5 minutes.

  5. Once the indicator reaches 40–50, reduce to low and cook another 30 minutes.

  6. Optional: Mix 1 tbsp flour to thicken sauce before serving.
