Egg with Tomato

🍳 Cookware Used:

  • Jumbo Skillet with Dome Cover

🛠️ Utensils:

  • Knife

  • Spoon

  • Steamer rack (optional)

🧂 Ingredients:

  • 6 hard-boiled eggs, shelled

  • 6 large tomatoes

  • Salt and pepper to taste

👩🍳 Instructions:

  1. Cut the top off each tomato. Remove seeds and create a cavity for the egg.

  2. Sprinkle the inside with salt and pepper.

  3. Place one hard-boiled egg inside each tomato.

  4. Arrange the stuffed tomatoes in the large skillet with a small amount of water beneath a steamer rack (or use the dome cover).

  5. Cover and steam on medium heat. When the indicator reaches 40, reduce to low and steam for 5 minutes.

🌱 Waterless/Oilless Notes:

The gentle steaming method preserves flavor and keeps eggs and tomatoes intact without needing any oil or butter.
